I'm sending a quick update to tell you this newsletter, Sci-fi With That Weirdo, Deon Ashleigh, is rebranding to The Sci-fi Space.

I'm starting a YouTube channel, with the same name, to discuss books with sci-fi readers. I want their opinions about sci-fi books so we authors can learn from our readers' wisdom.

I'll also be promoting my fellow indie authors and sharing my writing, so...

the newsletter needs to match.

After eight years, my sci-fi debut is finished! I'm not gonna add a buy link but just let you know HOW FREAKIN' EXCITED I AM to have birthed this book baby.

I mean, it came out eight years old, but you get what I'm sayin'.😉

I've been working long hours to format the Kindle, paperback, hardcover, and large print versions, and I've learned so much.

And I know I'll learn a lot more as I embark on the audiobook journey later this year.

What inspired me to write this book?

The Price of a Beating Heart came from a soul-deep heartbreak and a fight for hope, and I'm proud of how it turned out.

It's as close to my vision as I could get it. 🥳
